Light of the World Wisdom Ministries in Irvine, CA was founded by Teka L. Barber, Senior Pastor, who retired from a world renowned Methodist Denomination in 2013, after 10 years of active and ordained ministering of the Spoken Word of God, to establish Non-Denominational Diversity in Muli-Cultural Leadership; Clergy; Membership and Nationwide Reach of the Gospel for all.

Prior to accepting the call of Ordained Ministry, Pastor Teka managed the day-to-day operations as Franchisee of Century 21 Teka Realty simultaneously with Solid Finance Construction Realty which provided full-service realty; home improvement; escrow; residential mortgage, property management; probate resolution; mandatory property repairs based on appraisal findings, and bail bond services of clients who had minor challenges attached to their real estate owned.

Pastor Teka retired from all real estate brokerage business to enter in and accept the Calling of God to preach the Gospel in the year 2003. Still very young, Pastor Teka is married to ordained Chief Executive Elder, Herman E. Barber. Elder Herman is a 20 year, extremely successful Senior Vice President, International Equities Trader for Kota Global Securities. When not ministering the Gospel and managing Stewardship of the Church, Elder Herman has executed billion dollar individual global programs with minimum market impact around the globe. Light of the World’s Stewardship and Endowment Programs are managed by its CFO, Matthew Giangrande, UCLA Graduate, and Financial Management Expert in various components of financing around the world.
